UNRWA Commissioner-General on Gaza: Water Systems Devastated as UNRWA Delivers Lifeline Amid Deepening Humanitarian Crisis

From Philippe Lazzarini, the UNRWA Commissioner-General as posted on his official X account (previously known as Twitter)

Water supply and sewer systems have been almost completely destroyed during the war in Gaza.
Daily, in their struggle to survive, people in Gaza are queuing long hours to get water.
Every day, UNRWA works to deliver 4.6 million litres of clean water in Gaza, reaching over 620,000 displaced people.
Without our 11,500 staff at work, Gaza's humanitarian disaster would be even deeper.
