City earns 10 Communicator Awards

The City of Lewisville recently earned 10 Communicator Awards for print, video, and Centennial related projects.

The Lewisville 2025 Annual Report earned:

• Award of Excellence - Print Advertising - Brochure or Pamphlet
• Award of Excellence - Print Content - Government & Associations
• Award of Distinction - Design Features - Overall Layout

The Lewisville 2025 Annual Report is a multi-page, full-color publication that is mailed to all Lewisville residents in February of each year. It highlights major accomplishments City departments made toward the Lewisville 2025 vision plan during the previous year and major plans for the coming year. A digital copy of this award-winning report, and several past annual reports, can be viewed at cityoflewisville.com/Lewisville2025.

Lewisville Lift: The 2026 Proposed Budget Overview video earned:

• Award of Excellence - General - Government & Associations

Each year, the City produces a video to inform residents of services and projects included in the proposed budget for the next fiscal year. This award-winning video pays homage to the popular tv quiz show, Cash Cab. In Lewisville Lift, City employees are put to the test to see how much they learned about the proposed FY2025-26 budget during the budget workshop held a few weeks before. The Lewisville Centennial website earned:

• Award of Distinction - General - Community
• Award of Distinction - General - Government

The Centennial website, LewisvilleTX100.com, shares the story of Lewisville and honors its history in a new and innovative way. Visitors to the site will experience an interactive, media-rich timeline that explores the different eras of Lewisville's history through pictures, documents, and artifacts from The Lewisville Collection. They also will be able to share their memories of Lewisville and learn about all the Centennial-related events the City held in 2025.

Lewisville: 100 Years of Change - a Centennial-themed movie earned:

• Award of Distinction - General - History & Biography
• Award of Distinction - General - Documentary
• Award of Distinction - Craft Categories - Editing

In 2025, the City commissioned a Centennial-themed, documentary-style, movie to tell the story of Lewisville's growth. It features multiple Lewisville residents sharing their stories of growing up here and watching the city change over the last several decades. This award-winning documentary can be watched on the City of Lewisville YouTube page.

The Communicator Awards is the leading global awards program honoring creative excellence for marketing and communications professionals. It is an annual competition recognizing the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations, and design. The Communicator Awards are sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.
