Good To Go! now accepting applications for Low Income Discount Program

Program applies only to SR 509 in SeaTac and SR 167 in Fife

SEATTLE - Applications are now open for a new Low Income Discount Program providing qualifying drivers with a 50% discount on tolls for trips on the State Route 509 Expressway in SeaTac and SR 167 Expressway in Fife.

To qualify, drivers must have a gross household income (before taxes) of no more than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. For a single driver that would be an annual income of $31,920 or less; or $66,000 or less annually for a household of four people.

Drivers can apply online at MyGoodToGo.com. As part of that process applicants must provide a copy of their vehicle registration and an income verification document such as an award letter from specific income-qualified programs or a copy of their most recent tax return, specifically form 1040. Participants will need to re-enroll in the program every 12 months.

The discount goes into effect when tolling begins on the SR 167 Expressway in December and will only discount trips on the SR 509 Expressway and SR 167 Expressway.

At this time discounts are not available for trips on other tolled roads, such as the Tacoma Narrows Bridge, SR 99 tunnel, SR 520 bridge, or the I-405 or SR 167 express toll lanes.

Drivers who do not qualify for the program can still save money on tolls by opening a Good To Go! account and using a pass. Good To Go! is giving out a limited number of sticker passes for free right now to encourage people to open accounts before the new SR 167 Expressway opens and save money on tolls. Travelers can get a promo code for free pass at GoodToGo167.com while supplies last.
