PPG completes COLORFUL COMMUNITIES project at specialist care and education center in the UK

MIRFIELD, UK, Oct. 1, 2026 - PPG (NYSE: PPG) today announced the completion of a COLORFUL COMMUNITIES® project at Hollybank Trust, a charity in Mirfield, UK, that provides specialist education, residential care, therapies and enrichment activities for children, young people and adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

The project brought together more than 100 PPG employees and community volunteers to transform key areas throughout the charity's facilities, creating brighter, more welcoming and supportive spaces for the people who learn, live and receive support at the Hollybank Trust. The project improved spaces for more than 100 children and adults, as well as their families, visitors and staff.

PPG provided $35,000 (£26,000) to support the project, including more than 70 gallons (300 liters) of JOHNSTONE'S TRADE™ paints by PPG. Main wall surfaces were refreshed using Johnstone's Trade Acrylic Durable Matt, selected for its excellent durability, stain resistance, cleanability and mold-resistant properties. Higher-wear areas were protected using Johnstone's Trade Aqua Guard Satin, featuring advanced Surface Protection Technology. The color selection was made using shades from the PPG VOICE OF COLOR® palette.

Working alongside Leeds, UK-based muralist group We Belong Here, volunteers also created four bespoke murals inspired by woodland, jungle and underwater themes. The colorful artworks bring creativity, color and a sense of discovery throughout the facility while supporting a positive and engaging environment for service users and visitors.
