St. Pete Community Invited to Fire Station No. 2 Groundbreaking Ceremony

March 18, 2026 - Mayor Kenneth T. Welch and St. Petersburg Fire Rescue Chief Keith Watts invite the community to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Fire Station No. 2 on Wednesday, March 25 at 10:30 a.m. The new fire station will be located at 6560 26th Ave. N and is replacing the existing Fire Station No. 2 located at 3100 66th St. N.

Parking Information

Parking is limited at the site. Attendees are encouraged to park at the adjacent Elks Lodge #1224 located at 2675 66th St. N. Additional parking can be found at the parking lot in front of the former JOANN Fabric and Crafts, located at 2500 66th St. N.
