SLU Golf and Give Innovation Challenge Set for February 24-25

The Saint Louis University community can play the course for a suggested donation to Billiken Bounty

ST. LOUIS - The third Golf and Give Innovation Challenge, led by Saint Louis University's School of Science and Engineering and the Chaifetz Center for Entrepreneurship in the Richard A. Chaifetz School of Business, will offer the SLU community two days of miniature golf on campus while helping to stock the Billiken Bounty food pantry.

The challenge will be held in the Wool Ballrooms in Busch Student Center on Feb. 24-25.

Teams of student organizations will build mini golf course holes out of non-perishable food items. The teams are challenged to create holes out of pantry items that represent their student organization, employing their creativity and innovative thinking skills. In 2025, 14 teams competed in the innovation challenge.

Course Details

• When: Tuesday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 25 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Where: Wool Ballrooms in Busch Student Center
• Details: Complete the registration form below. Participants may bring a non-perishable food item (or cash donation) for Billiken Bounty when they check in to play. Putter and golf ball will be provided at check-in.

Located in the Center for Global Citizenship, Billiken Bounty is a safe place where SLU students can choose from a variety of grocery items and healthy foods to help alleviate food insecurity. Billiken Bounty operates using a referral system.

The pantry operates on donations of either shelf-stable items or money. The Golf and Give events have raised more than $2,600 in food and pantry items each year.
