Veteran Flag Distribution
The City of Buena Park is proud to once again recognize the men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces through its Veteran Flag Distribution Program.This program honors Buena Park veterans by delivering an American flag to their veterans' homes as a symbol of gratitude for their service and sacrifice.
Each flag will be personally delivered by a member of the City Council and placed in the recipient's front yard or near the front door in recognition of Veterans Day. Residents are invited to nominate themselves or a fellow Buena Park veteran from August 10 through October 24.
Flag deliveries will take place November 2-6, allowing the community to proudly honor local veterans in celebration of Veterans Day.
