Your Guide to Fall Festivals in Grand Prairie in 2026

As summer winds down, Grand Prairie's fall festival season is just getting started.

The coming months bring some of the city's most anticipated annual events, giving residents plenty of reasons to gather and celebrate together.

Here are some of the biggest fall festivals to add to your calendar.

Pickle Fest

Sept. 5, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Pickle Fest returns to Downtown Grand Prairie with more than 80 vendors, pickle-inspired food, live music, pickle-eating and drinking contests, pop-up pickleball courts, carnival rides, and a petting zoo.

Texas Monthly BBQ Fest: Homecoming

Sept. 19, 6 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Texas Monthly BBQ Fest brings BBQ Homecoming to EpicCentral this fall, featuring acclaimed Texas pitmasters, live-fire cooking, dinner, dancing and plenty of Texas BBQ spirit.

SHEF Food and Wine Festival

Oct. 9-11, Times vary

Enjoy three days of food, wine and culinary experiences with Master Chef Tiffany Derry and other celebrity chefs as they bring nationally and internationally known chefs, distillers and winemakers together in Grand Prairie for a weekend celebrating the Texas culinary scene.

Flight of the Monarch Festival

Oct. 17, 12 p.m.-5 p.m.

Celebrate the annual monarch butterfly migration at this free, family-friendly festival featuring music, butterfly releases, dance, storytelling, and activities for all ages.

Main Street Fest

Oct. 23-25, Times vary

Main Street Fest returns to Downtown Grand Prairie for three days of live music, carnival rides, food, shopping and family fun. This year's festival features an expanded footprint and a brand-new stage in front of City Hall, with more than 15 musical performances throughout the weekend.
