JOSEPHINE COUNTY, ORE - We want to share an important update with our residents. The Josephine County Emergency Manager has stepped down from the position, effective immediately.
Please be assured there will be no interruption to our emergency services. Josephine County Sheriff Dave Daniel has agreed to temporarily step into this important role. We are also grateful that the City of Grants Pass has agreed to help in any way necessary to support our community during this transition.
Our strong network of partnering agencies continues to work closely together to maintain robust preparedness, response, and coordination efforts across the county while we thoughtfully begin the process of selecting a new Emergency Manager.
The Josephine County Board of Commissioners wants every resident to know that public safety remains our highest priority. Your safety and the well-being of our community are at the heart of everything we do, and our dedicated teams remain fully committed to keeping Josephine County safe and prepared.
We are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way. Additional information will be shared as it becomes available.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. Together, we are strong, steady, and ready to serve.
