As Trump’s War Drives Up Gas Prices in Arizona, Does Andy Biggs Still Think Inflation Was “Tamed”

As Trump's War Drives Up Gas Prices in Arizona, Does Andy Biggs Still Think Inflation Was "Tamed"?

As prices continue to rise thanks to Andy Biggs' vote to back Donald Trump's war in Iran, the Arizona Republic is reporting on how "sharp increases in energy and gasoline costs" are driving inflation and hitting "Arizonans hardest."

In fact, the report added "Energy prices rose 23.8% in metro Phoenix during the two-month period, while gasoline prices jumped 45.6%, the BLS reported."

However, instead of fighting to lower costs, Andy Biggs was recently caught telling Arizonans that inflation was "tamed" and that cost-hiking tariffs are "not inflationary" and only "short-term challenges."

"We can't know if Andy Biggs is lying through his teeth to Arizonans about inflation or if he's simply that out of touch. However, we do know he's been voting to raise costs and owes Arizonans an answer to a very simple question: does he still think inflation has been 'tamed'?" said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton.
