Secretary Blinken’s Call with UK Foreign Secretary Lammy

Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken spoke with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy today. The Secretary thanked the Foreign Secretary for the close partnership they forged as part of the U.S.-UK "special relationship" and highlighted their cooperation on issues like conflict in the Middle East, Russia's illegal war in Ukraine, and competition with the PRC. The Secretary wished Foreign Secretary Lammy well as he continues the important work the United States and the United Kingdom do together to promote a safe and secure world.
