Edinburg to Unveil 2026 Hometown Heroes Ahead of Half-Marathon
Unveiling ceremony set for Thursday, Feb. 26thEdinburg, TX - As the City of Edinburg prepares to host the 6th Annual Hometown of Heroes Half-Marathon on Sunday, March 8, 2026, officials are set to unveil this year's honorees - residents nominated for their extraordinary contributions to the community, who will each represent a mile marker along the race route.
The honorees will be announced during the ceremony on Thursday, February 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the Edinburg Arts, Culture, and Events (ACE) Center. Media partners and the public are invited to attend and celebrate these individuals, who have made outstanding contributions to Edinburg through their dedication and service.
