Remission Medical Welcomes Rick Diaz, MBA, as Advisory Member

Healthcare operations executive brings more than 25 years of experience in value-based care, payer strategy and operational performance to Remission Medical's Advisory Consultant Program

RICHMOND, Va., October 5, 2026 - Remission Medical today announced that Rick Diaz, MBA, has joined its Advisory Consultant Program as an Advisory Member, bringing more than 25 years of healthcare operations experience spanning value-based care, payer strategy, revenue cycle, pharmacy, financial performance and organizational transformation.

Diaz joins a growing group of experienced healthcare leaders and subject-matter experts providing strategic perspective and counsel as Remission Medical expands its partnerships with health systems and specialty practices nationwide.

Remission Medical established its Advisory Consultant Program to bring additional healthcare, clinical, operational, workforce and strategic perspectives to that work as the company continues to grow.

Diaz is a healthcare operations executive with more than 25 years of experience driving operational performance, developing and scaling commercial insurance plans, leading revenue cycle initiatives and supporting strategic transformation. His expertise includes value-based care models, Medicare and Medicaid administration, healthcare regulation, digital health and organizational policy development.

Throughout his career, Diaz has served in Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles with responsibility across a broad range of healthcare services, including specialty care, behavioral health, dental care, OB/GYN, urgent care, pharmacy and nonprofit healthcare organizations. His administrative experience includes management of enterprise-level P&Ls and budgets exceeding $90 million, financial planning and state and federal healthcare advocacy.

Diaz currently serves as Chief Operations Officer of Remy Healthcare, where his areas of expertise include pharmacy, 340B programs, third-party administration and infusion services. He also brings extensive experience using data analytics to inform decision-making and support continuous operational improvement.

A Marine Corps veteran, Diaz holds a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, with additional education in practical nursing and personnel development. He also serves with healthcare associations, advisory councils and community organizations.
