This week is National Property and Evidence Professionals Appreciation Week (April 1st -6th). This week, we honor our incredible team and say THANK YOU for all the hard work they do. They not only play a vital part in the criminal justice system, but they are essential to the Key West Police Department by receiving, cataloging, safely storing, and maintaining the integrity of evidence, found property, and property for safekeeping. In addition, they provide the same service with the plethora of video evidence. And all of this with the utmost professionalism.
In 2024 they took in 4,998 pieces of property and shared 57,000 Axon videos.
Thank you to Zoe Elwell, John Hurhula, and Megan Wilcox!
