Local Youth Invited to Design Community Safety Stickers

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (March 6, 2026) - Middlesex County is looking for its next generation of designers to help spread an important message about staying active and safe. Local third through fifth graders are invited to participate in a special sticker design contest by Keep Middlesex Moving by creating original artwork that illustrates the joys of walking, biking, or rolling safely through their neighborhoods.

In addition to having their artwork shared across the region, the creators of the top three designs will receive cash prizes to honor their contribution to community safety. The first-place winner will receive $100, followed by $60 for second place and $40 for third place.

Parents, teachers, and community mentors are encouraged to share this opportunity widely to ensure all eligible students can participate. All submissions must be received by March 31, with the official winners set to be announced on April 14.
