WASHINGTON, D.C. - Today, Senator Jim Banks (R-Ind.) joined the Indiana University football team at the White House to celebrate the Hoosiers' historic national championship season. IU secured the title on January 19, 2026, with a 27-21 victory over the University of Miami, capping off a perfect 16-0 season. With the win, Indiana University became the first program in the modern College Football Playoff era to finish a season undefeated at 16-0.
