Guy Ziv Named SIS Scholar Teacher of the Year 2024 2025
Congratulations to SIS Professor Guy Ziv, who has been named the SIS Scholar-Teacher of the Year for 2024-2025. At an on-campus celebration on April 23, last year's honoree Rachel Sullivan Robinson announced Guy as the winner.
Guy is an active scholar and beloved teacher. His courses on U.S. foreign policy, U.S.-Israel relations, and Israeli-Palestinian peacemaking are popular and frequently oversubscribed. While regularly teaching six courses a year, Guy has also managed to engage actively with the public as a frequent commentator in top US and Israeli newspapers and on global media outlets, such as Al Jazeera, the BBC, and CNN. The quality of Guy's research record is equally impressive, including a steady stream of peer-reviewed articles, two books, and a textbook. Guy's most recent book, Netanyahu vs The Generals, was published by Cambridge University Press in 2024.
