City Announces MLK Holiday Closures

Fredericksburg, Texas - City of Fredericksburg buildings, facilities and offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, Jan. 20. Changes to regular operating hours are as follows:

City Hall

Closed Monday, Jan. 20 | Reopening Tuesday, Jan. 21

Animal Shelter

Closed Monday, Jan. 20 | Reopening Tuesday, Jan. 21

Gillespie County Health Division

Closed Monday, Jan. 20 | Reopening Tuesday, Jan. 21

Law Enforcement Offices

Closed Monday, Jan. 20 | Reopening Tuesday, Jan. 21

Recycling Center

Closed Monday, Jan. 20 | Reopening Tuesday, Jan. 21

Sanitary Landfill

Closed Monday, Jan. 20 | Reopening Tuesday, Jan. 21

Garbage collection will remain on the regular schedule. There are no garbage collection holidays, but customers are asked to have their trash can out to the curb by 7 a.m.
