Las Vegas Book Festival Announces Headline Authors

Plan To Attend Free Festival Oct. 18, 10 A.M.-5 P.M. At Historic Fifth Street School

LAS VEGAS (Aug. 26, 2025) - The 2025 Las Vegas Book Festival will feature renowned authors and political icons former U.S. Senator Richard Bryan, former Nevada Governor Bob Miller; authors from The New York Times Bestsellers list, including Taylor Jenkins Reid, Katherine Stewart, Tim Alberta, Jasmine Guillory and Julie Murphy; and all the rest of the authors from Disney's Meant To Be romantic comedy series - Christina Lauren, Zoraida Córdova and Jesse Q. Sutanto.

Open to all ages, the Las Vegas Book Festival, now in its 24th year, returns to Las Vegas Saturday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plan to attend this free annual event held downtown at the Historic Fifth Street School, 401 S. Fourth St.

Local author, editor and historian Geoff Schumacher will host the "Destined To Lead" panel with political icons Bryan and Miller at 10:30 a.m. in the Historic Fifth Street School auditorium. Local television reporter and political analyst Steve Sebelius will host the "Is Separation Of Church And State Over?" panel with Stewart and Alberta at 2 p.m. in the same auditorium, followed by a conversation with Taylor Jenkins Reid at 3:30 p.m. All the Meant To Be authors will be on a panel together for the first time (with Sutanto joining virtually) at 12:15 p.m. in the same location. The headline authors will have their books for sale and will hold book signings after their panel discussions.

A full schedule of book festival activities that includes panel discussions, book signings, arts and crafts for children and read-alongs will be shared closer to the event.
