Javier Flores, the managing partner of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP's Boston office was recognized by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a 2025 "Go To Lawyer" for Commercial/Consumer Law.
Javier has diverse litigation experience representing clients in complex commercial matters in individual and punitive class action matters, including unfair business practices, breach of contract, consumer fraud, and breach of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 93A claims. His clients range from Fortune 500 companies to start-ups.
In a conversation with the publication, Javier was asked about being a leader in his field. He says, "I have been tremendously lucky to work with a number of great clients on disputes involving interesting legal issues. I am also blessed to be at a firm that provides a platform to handle challenging cases and the support to provide our clients with a great opportunity for success. My practice is unique simply in terms of my breadth of experience, which includes class action litigation, a wide variety of commercial disputes and unfair business practices claims, product liability litigation and matters involving violation of NCAA regulations. Having such a large breadth of experience is beneficial if you can take the lessons from those matters and apply them to future litigation that might involve markedly different issues. It also involves a willingness to be uncomfortable and dig in to learn what's needed to be successful."
The feature showcases leaders in the Massachusetts legal community by practice area. Attorneys are identified based on their experience and success record, referrals from colleagues because of his/her experience and their creativity in indemnifying options for clients.
