On the Democrats' lies about the economy:

"Well, Ashley, they obviously have Trump Derangement Syndrome. He could walk in and cure cancer, and they would still find something wrong with that. But here's the good news: the country is growing economically, good GDP numbers, real wages are up - so wages are outgrowing inflation right now, jobs reports are solid, participation rates are solid. And by the way, these are non-government jobs, we've shed 300,000 government jobs under President Trump, but yet the jobs reports are still adding. So they got it wrong because they had a political motivation."

On those who are struggling with the cost of living:

"Well, actually, I think we can, but I think we also need to realize that there's a group of people out there that are in the slow economic lane; they're suffering from four years of Biden inflation. In four years' time, they saw housing go up 50%, the same can be said for childcare, for healthcare, and for property insurance as well. So they dug a deep hole, but I think right now that we've stopped the digging, we're starting to climb out, but we can do more right now. So we're seeing manufacturing jobs start to pick up because of the tariffs, and we're seeing the farm economy picking up because of the tariffs as well, and some of the other ethanol and 45Z practices. So the economy is turning around, we can now see the top of the tunnel - the light at the top of the tunnel. So I think we're going in the right direction now."

On the difference between the Biden and Trump economies:

"Yeah, make the exclamation point here. The reason inflation went up under Joe Biden - we went from spending $5 trillion a year to $7 trillion a year, overnight. We started printing $2 trillion a year, and then we shut down oil drilling as well, so I think those are the two reasons inflation happened. We've got it under control again - real wages up, core inflation down. It's a new day in America, thank God for President Trump's policies."
