AUC Chairperson held a series of constructive bilateral engagements

On the margins of the 48th Session of the AU Executive Council, the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. @ymahmoudali, held a series of constructive bilateral engagements with the Foreign Ministers of #Kenya, #Chad #Seychelles, #Libya, #Tunisia and #SouthSudan.

Deliberations focused on advancing peace, security and governance; strengthening institutional effectiveness; revitalising the AU's presence in Tripoli and N'Djamena; addressing migration in close coordination with countries of origin; supporting refugee protection and humanitarian access; enhancing Member State representation within the Commission; and ensuring equitable African representation in multilateral fora, including the UN Security Council.

These exchanges reaffirm the AU's commitment to African-led solutions to continental priorities.
