Agents discover 16 illegal aliens in a stash house at Laredo Sector

LAREDO, Texas - Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents discovered 16 illegal aliens at a stash house in Laredo.

On Jan. 22, at approximately 5:00 p.m., Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents, Texas Department of Public Safety, and other law enforcement agents received information that a residence in Laredo, Texas, was possibly being used to harbor illegal aliens. Agents arrived at the residence and entered the dwelling when they discovered 16 individuals being harbored.

All subjects were taken into Border Patrol custody, and records checks were conducted. It was revealed they were all in the country illegally from Guatemala, Honduras, and Mexico. All subjects were processed according to their individual immigration status.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection welcomes assistance from the community. Citizens are encouraged to report suspicious activity to the Laredo Sector Border Patrol while remaining anonymous at 1-800-343-1994.
