A Small Scale Development Lecture - the first of a 3-part series coordinated by Incremental Development Alliance (IncDev) in partnership with the City of Norman - will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM 11/3/25 at The Standard, 315 E. Gray Street, and feature Speaker Eric Kronberg. The event is free and open to all.
"The Incremental Development Alliance works to support a diverse network of people who want to make their communities stronger through small, intentional development," said Sara Kaplan, Chief Business & Community Relations Officer for the City of Norman. "We are looking forward to this collaborative opportunity and are hopeful for a great turnout!"
Kronberg, who has worked with IncDev since 2015, is a "zoning whisperer" who specializes in balancing urban design, architecture, and development needs to create better places. He advocates for walkable communities and shares knowledge to help navigate the maze of redevelopment.
"Having recently passed a new master plan, this is wonderful timing for the community to come together to learn more about the power of small," Kaplan said.
IncDev, who travels the country offering trainings to the development community and enthusiasts, as well as municipal officials, said the lecture will be followed by a community workshop and "bootcamp" in months to come. According to their website, IncDev serves:
