Business Breakfast Network Members Showcase Athletic Grit and Community Spirit at Zuma Beach Triathlon
MALIBU, Calif. -
Members of the Business Breakfast Network (BBN), celebrating their 24th year as a networking group of the Greater Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce, recently competed in the Zuma Beach Triathlon. Demonstrating extraordinary teamwork and personal endurance, Team BBN fielded a formidable relay entry alongside standout individual performances. Jim Wisdom of JLW Financial & Insurance Services-a lifelong swimmer and founder of Laps for Life-kicked off the relay with a strong half-mile swim. Dr. Ben Griffes of Griffes Chiropractic tackled the demanding 18-mile bike leg, before handing off to Jennie Bayless of City Shopper, a seasoned group fitness instructor with over 25 years of experience, who closed out the team's effort with a spirited 4-mile run. Highlighting individual achievements, James D. Stephens of Stephens Law Group, P.C. took on the full Olympic Distance Triathlon (1.5K Swim, 40K Bike, 10K Run), finishing an impressive 2nd place in his age group. The event proved to be a resounding success, perfectly reflecting BBN's dedication to personal growth, professional excellence, and community involvement.
