One Day, Endless Food Options! Tasty Tuesday Returns to The Great New York State Fair

Offering $3-5 Food Options from Your Select Vendors, Tuesday Only!

The Great New York State Fair, the most affordable state fair in the country, announces the return of Tasty Tuesday-a one-day-only sampling of The Fair's most popular food dishes at discounted prices-on Tuesday, September 1, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Samples from select vendors will be available for $3-5 each.

This crowd-pleasing offer returns for its third year to provide fairgoers with an unforgettable food experience without breaking the bank. If you're a regular fairgoer, you may be familiar with two pocketbook-friendly Fair favorites: the 25-cent cup of milk, located in the Dairy Products Building, and the $1 baked potato, located in the Horticulture Building. Tasty Tuesday delivers another affordable option, with delicious, Fair-favorite samples that allow customers to try food from various vendors while still feeling satisfied.

"We want everyone to experience the joy of The Fair without the added worry of cost." said Fair Director Julie LaFave. "Tasty Tuesday is an important way we provide fairgoers with the opportunity to enjoy the flavors of The Fair and empower our vendors to showcase their creativity and shine in the process."

To plan out your meals this Tasty Tuesday, visit the Tasty Tuesday page on The Fair's website, or search the Fair Finder section of the official Fair app. The more than 50 participating Tasty Tuesday vendors will display Tasty Tuesday signage at their booths.

To keep prices consistent across The New York State Fairgrounds, bottled water is priced at a maximum of $3, and there are refillable water stations available in most buildings. Guests are encouraged to stay hydrated.

The Fair starts Wednesday, August 26, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 7. All concerts are included in the price of admission. Tickets are on sale now at The Fair's website, nysfair.ny.gov. Packed with value, a single admission ticket costs $8 and includes access to all grounds entertainment and The Fair's award-winning concert lineup. In addition, a Frequent Fairgoer ticket option is available for $25.

The Fair continues to be one of the most affordable fairs in the nation, with admission remaining free for those aged 65 and older along with children 12 years old and under.
