Town of Davie Seeks Restaurant Participation for the Veterans Voucher Program

DAVIE, Fla. - In observance of the upcoming Veterans Day holiday, the Town of Davie is relaunching the Veterans Voucher Program for its fifth consecutive year. Davie restaurants interested in participating in this program are asked to submit their information now through October 17, 2025.

The program will provide one $30 meal voucher to 100 eligible Davie veterans to dine at a participating Davie restaurant. Vouchers will have no cash value and alcoholic beverages will not be covered by the program. Veterans and restaurants in the program will be notified of the redemption timeframe.

Restaurant requirements:

• Must be located within the Town of Davie
• Possess a valid Business Tax Receipt (BTR)
• Hold no outstanding code fines, liens or active cases

To participate, please complete the Restaurant Participation Form by October 17, 2025. Town staff will review applications to ensure restaurants meet the qualifications outlined above.

Restaurants approved to participate in the program are expected to contribute $5 per voucher, with the Town contributing $25. Restaurants will be reimbursed for redeemed vouchers the week immediately following the conclusion of the voucher program.
