NOW OPEN: Lemon Trail bridge over I-70 in Saline Co.

SALINE COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation has opened the Lemon Trail bridge (County Road 211) over Interstate 70 near mile marker 81.6. The bridge had been scheduled for replacement and was removed in January 2025. The new Lemon Trail bridge was opened to traffic in August 2025. The Nitrogen Ave. (County Road 225) bridge over I-70 to the east is also included in this project. That bridge is scheduled for replacement by the end of 2026. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
