President Vahagn Khachaturyan’s message on the occasion of Teacher’s Day

Dear Teachers,

I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of Teacher's Day.

Being a teacher is not only a profession but also a calling and a great responsibility. Through your daily work, you shape the foundations of our children's thinking and knowledge, nurture sound reasoning, and foster free and critical minds. In school, your duty and responsibility are not merely to mechanically transmit knowledge, but to use it as a means to create a value system based on human and civic freedom, dignity, and morality.

The civic awareness of our children, that is, the very core of society - their respect for statehood, and their sense of responsibility toward the community depend largely on you.

It can be said that the teacher shapes the image of the future citizen and, thereby, the future of the state itself.

I am fully aware of the challenges of your mission. Often, you are called not only to educate but also to withstand difficulties, when various influences or even certain systemic practices attempt to divert teachers from their true mission.

Your strength and patience are most valued precisely here - in your ability to remain faithful to education, preserve your dignity, and continue to pass on to the next generations the very values upon which the future of our country is built.

Dear Teachers,

I express my gratitude to you for your dedication and perseverance. I wish you good health, peace, and family happiness.

May your work be crowned with success, and may your students become conscious, free-minded, and dignified citizens who strengthen the foundations of our statehood.
