Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 8/11
(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - The following work is scheduled on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, August 11th.
- Cleaning ditches on Ballyhack Road, Fox Farm Road, Old Route 17 & Caldwell Hill Road
- Paving work on Hale Eddy/River Road (Deposit)
- Culvert work on Stratmill Road, Caldwell Hill Road, Hyde Street & Hale Eddy/River Road
- Grader Patching on Edson Road & Kent Street/Trim Street
- Mowing right of way on several county roads
- Painting on various county roads
Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progresses. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
