Governor’s Place Improvement Project
The City of Kettering is pleased to share an update on the upcoming Governor's Place Improvement Project. Construction will begin Monday, May 19, focusing initially on the medians along Governor's Place.
Please be advised that during construction, there will be temporary lane restrictions and sidewalk closures to accommodate the work. Traffic along Governor's Place will be restricted to one-way only, from Dorothy Lane to Dixie Highway. In addition:
- Northbound traffic on Dixie Highway will not be able to turn right onto Governor's Place.
- A detour route will be clearly marked along Dixie Highway.
Construction is expected to continue through the fall of 2025.
