PHOTOS: Crews Continue Restoring Power After Extreme Winds

Over the past week, winds and fires have ravaged much of Southern California, impacting millions of residents and leaving many without electricity. Southern California Edison is working around the clock to restore power to affected customers.

Due to unsafe conditions, restoration in some areas istaking longer than usual. Since Jan.7, power has been restored to more than 400,000 customers.

The Eaton Fire devastated several foothill communities, including Altadena, leaving a path of destruction.

If you see a downed power line or dangling wire - even if it appears not to be live - stay 100 feet away from it or anything that is in contact with it and call 911 immediately.
