N.C. Treasurer Brad Briner Applauds General Assembly For Funding State Health Plan Needs

State Treasurer Brad Briner applauds the General Assembly for reaching an agreement to fund crucial Department of State Treasurer needs in House Bill 125, including additional funding for the State Health Plan (Plan).
"We are grateful to the General Assembly for their agreement to provide a historic investment into the State Health Plan and for fully funding the pension plan," said Treasurer Briner. "We have been working hard to overcome the $500 million deficit in the Plan, and these funds are critical to making the Plan solvent for our hard-working state employees."
