Kirkland & Ellis advised Waterland Private Equity Investments on the formation of its 10th institutional flagship fund, Waterland Private Equity Fund X (WPEF X), which closed at its €4 billion hard cap, alongside Waterland Partnership Fund II (WPF II), which closed at its €600 million hard cap. Both funds were materially oversubscribed as a result of continued strong support from existing investors as well as significant interest from new investors and closed less than four months after launch. WPEF X is the 10th generation of the flagship fund strategy investing in companies across Europe that operate in fragmented, growing markets, while supporting both organic and acquisitive growth.
