Romance, Regret and Redemption: Trailer and Key Art Released for Netflix’s ‘Badly in Love’ Season 2

Netflix has unveiled the key art, trailer and theme song for Badly in Love Season 2 , revealing the new contestants taking the next chapter of the Japanese reality series forward.

The newly released key art introduces the nine cast members gathered on the beaches of Okinawa, where this season unfolds. Against the island's vibrant summer backdrop, each one arrives carrying a complicated past and a determination to move forward. As romance, conflict and unexpected friendships develop, the cast must face not only one another, but also the emotional baggage they have long kept hidden.

The newly released trailer teases an emotionally charged season, where passionate romance, explosive confrontations and deeply personal confessions unfold side by side. As the cast opens up about the hardships that shaped them, relationships grow beyond romance into bonds built on trust, forgiveness and a shared resolve to start over.

The official theme song for Season 2 has also been revealed as "Body & Soul (Remastered 2026)," the newly remastered version of the iconic debut single by Okinawa-born group SPEED , released in celebration of the group's 30th anniversary. First released in 1996, the song's uplifting energy and message of embracing life perfectly complement the emotional journey of the new season.

Badly in Love Season 2 premieres August 4, only on Netflix.
