First Watch Opens at GSQ

#NewBusinessAlert: First Watch Opens at GSQ as Downtown Goodyear Continues to Grow

The downtown of one of the fastest growing cities in the nation is booming! Another popular restaurant is now open at GSQ, located in downtown Goodyear, on Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road.

First Watch, the award-winning daytime dining restaurant known for its fresh, made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch, officially opened today, adding to the expanding mix of dining options in Goodyear.

The new First Watch offers indoor and patio seating along with guest favorites such as avocado toast, lemon ricotta pancakes and freshly brewed coffee.

"First Watch is another great addition to GSQ and a dining option our residents have been asking for," said Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo. "Each new business strengthens our downtown and reflects the continued momentum we're seeing in Goodyear."

"GSQ is coming to life as a premier West Valley destination for dining and gathering," said George Getz, Co-CEO of Globe Corporation. "With our development partners and the city of Goodyear, we are creating a downtown that residents love and visitors look forward to exploring."

First Watch joins a growing list of businesses who recently including, Trader Joe's, Dave's Hot Chicken, High Tide Seafood, Over Easy, Bacchus Wine & Debauchery, Banner Health and Avila University Arizona.

Additional businesses recently announced coming to GSQ include Nordstrom Rack, Fogo de Chão, Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Black Rock Coffee Bar, CAVA, California Fish Grill, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar, AC Hotels and VEG (Veterinary Emergency Group), with openings planned throughout 2026 and 2027.

GSQ is being developed by Globe Corp. and RED Development as a walkable, mixed-use district anchored by Goodyear Civic Square, home to City Hall, a two-story library, office space and a two-acre park.
