House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability to Hold Second Meeting at State Capitol

ATLANTA - The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability, chaired by State Representative Bethany Ballard (R-Warner Robins), will hold its second meeting on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. in room 403 of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta, Ga.

During the meeting, members of the study committee will hear testimony from Barrow County Schools, the Georgia Department of Education and ExcelinEd.

The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on Education Performance Metrics and Workforce Stability will evaluate Georgia's education evaluation measures to strengthen accountability, improve student success and strengthen teacher recruitment and retention.
