ADCRR Food Service Provider Update (09.30.24)

ADCRR is pleased to announce that on September 30, 2024, the food service provider for Arizona State Prison Complexes will change from the Trinity Services Group to Aramark.

Aramark's commitment to supporting the incarcerated population through healthy food, job training, and employment aligns with ADCRR's mission and goals.

The new menus reflect variety and seasonality. In the coming months, inmates will be able to purchase freshly prepared, restaurant-quality meals through the commissary as part of Aramark's "Fresh Favorites Program."

While individuals on medical diets may see different food items than in the past, rest assured that these new menu options have been vetted by healthcare experts and dietitians to ensure that they comply with medical prescriptions.

Aramark's contract extends beyond food service to include a robust culinary training program for inmates, which includes internships, scholarships, and job placement opportunities upon release from ADCRR custody.
