The City of Mesa is helping residents to learn more about artificial intelligence through free educational resources available from the Mesa Public Library.
The Library offers free access to LinkedIn Learning, an online platform offering self-paced courses in technology, business and creative skills. LinkedIn Learning includes more than 1,000 AI-related courses designed for beginner, intermediate and advanced adult learners. Anyone with a Mesa Public Library card can access the platform.
"We want to provide free access to quality training for anyone interested in learning about AI," said Library Director Polly Bonnett. "Whether it's any adult with a passing interest, entrepreneurs looking to work more efficiently or job seekers who want to develop high-demand skills to be more competitive in the workforce."
The library will also offer free in-person classes, including:
•No Fear AI: A simple Introduction for Beginners, at the Red Mountain Library, 635 N. Power Road, on Wednesday, May 27 and Tuesday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
•Where is AI in 2026 and Where is it Going? on Wednesday, June 24 at the Dobson Ranch Library, 2425 S. Dobson Road, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Mesa Public Library cards are free for anyone who lives in Maricopa County for at least 30 consecutive days a year, works, owns property or attends school within the County. New members can get instant access to the library's online resources with an e-Card or can visit any branch with a photo ID to register for a full access card.
