Minsk Hosts the 4th International Anti-Fascist Congress on 25-27 June June

The event is organised by the Belarusian Defence Ministry. The main theme of the congress is combating the spread of fascist and Nazi ideas in the modern world, the strengthening international security and the defence of historical truth.

Invitations to the international forum have been sent to the defence ministries of the CIS member states and to representatives of the international community who share the ideas of anti-fascism.

On 26 June, a plenary session of the congress will be held at the Central House of Officers of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus. It is planned that representatives from several dozen countries will speak, both in person and via video conference. Among the invited guests are veterans of the Great Patriotic War and former juvenile prisoners of Nazi concentration camps.

On the same day, thematic exhibitions will be held, open to all visitors from 10:00 to 17:00. Exhibits will be presented by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Library of Belarus, the Belarusian State Archives of Films, Photographs and Sound Recordings, and the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Belarus. An exhibition from the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation is also planned.

Media representatives interested in covering the 4th International Anti-Fascist Congress must submit their applications by 15 June to the Press Service of the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Belarus.
