Free summer coping skills groups for teens

The Psychological Services Center (PSC) is offering two coping skills groups for teens this summer.

The groups will be lead by licensed professionals and co-lead by graduate students. The group focus areas include

  1. Increase awareness of thought patterns, learning to recognize and reframe unhelpful thinking;
  2. Strengthen self-awareness and identify personal goals; and
  3. Build practical skills to manage stress and emotions

Two groups will be offered:

  • Middle School Group - June 1 - July 6, Mondays 6- 7 p.m.
  • High School Group - June 17 - July 22, Wednesdays 4 - 5 p.m.
