Kane Financial Planning, LLC (IARD No. 283245)

On July 28, 2026, the Banking Commissioner entered into a Stipulation and Agreement (No. ST 26 20268-S) with Kane Financial Planning, LLC ("Kane"), a Connecticut registered investment adviser having its principal place of business at 222 North Hollow Road, East Hartland, Connecticut 06027.

The Stipulation and Agreement alleged that Kane violated Section 36b-6(d) of the Connecticut Uniform Securities Act ("Act") by transacting investment advisory business out of an office in Avon, Connecticut, without such office being registered as a branch office, in addition to Kane including the Avon address on marketing materials and its website.

In resolution of the matter, Kane agreed to refrain from conduct that violates the Act and to pay $2,625 to the Department of Banking. Of that amount, $2,500 constituted an administrative fine and $625 represented payment for the past due branch office registration fee.
