Starting Monday, May 11, crews will perform underground utility work on westbound Arapaho Road between Woodland Way and West Shore Drive. The left lane will be closed, with temporary middle-lane closures expected from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. During peak hours, the middle and outside lanes will remain open. Work in this area is estimated to be complete by mid-June.
This work is part of the West Shore Drive Reconstruction Project, funded by the 2021 Bond Program, and includes waterline replacement, sidewalk widening and street reconstruction. Crews are currently working on West Shore between Woodland Way and Fontana Avenue. In that section, those heading southbound will be detoured around construction. The overall project is expected to be complete by spring 2027.
