(YWCA, Iowa) - Neighbors Unite to Support YW with First-Ever Bulk Order of Essential Supplies

Neighboring organizations came together to meet a critical need for local families. Thanks to a generous joint gift of $7,000 from Modern Woodmen of America and Royal Neighbors of America, YWCA was able to purchase our very first bulk order of diapers, wipes, and period products through The National Diaper Bank Network and Alliance for Period Supplies.

All three organizations have been part of this community for more than a century-standing side-by-side in the service of women, children, and families. That spirit of collaboration was on full display as their leadership teams volunteered on December 10 to package these essential items, which will go directly to families served through our Empowerment Center.

These products don't just meet basic needs-they affirm dignity, ease financial strain, and open doors to opportunities for the families we serve.
