Temporary Closures for E Main and S Hancock Street Paving on July 15
Starting at 7:00am on Wednesday, July 15th, R.G. Huston Co., Inc. will continue work on the E Main and S Hancock project with the paving of several sections of roadway. It is anticipated that all temporary closures related to paving will reopen prior to afternoon rush-hour, once the pavement has cooled.
Road/Lane Closures
- South side of the 300 block of E Wilson Street
- E Main Street, from S Webster Street to S Blair Street
- S Hancock Street, from E Washington Avenue to E Main Street
- The northernmost lane on E Washington Avenue, at N Hancock Street
Detour Route
- Eastbound traffic will be detoured to S Webster Street, E Washinton Avenue, and then to S Blair Street.
- Westbound traffic on E Wilson Street will not be impacted.
Additional Details
In all cases, local access will be maintained during the paving process, though there may be short periods when work could block driveways.
