House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on the Impact of Online Platforms on Georgia Youth to Hold Meeting in Macon

ATLANTA - The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on the Impact of Online Platforms on Georgia Youth, chaired by State Representative Rob Clifton (R-Evans), will hold a meeting on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

During the meeting, study committee members will hear testimony from Emily Brookshire,

Kemberlie Sanderson and Holly Kittle, Kailey Mcbee and Maggie Ankratz with the Children's Advocacy Center of Lookout Mountain.

The House Blue-Ribbon Study Committee on the Impact of Online Platforms on Georgia Youth will evaluate the effects of online platforms on minors to strengthen safety protections, address mental health concerns and promote age-appropriate access to online content.
