On 26 February 2026, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas met with Mrs. Ann Marie Davis, wife of the Hon. Prime Minister of The Bahamas. On the occasion of the upcoming International Women's Day on March 8, both sides exchanged views on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and The Bahamas in promoting gender equality, advancing the comprehensive development of women, and protecting the rights and interests of vulnerable groups.
