Titusville Solid Waste Division making great progress on Milton yard debris cleanup.

TITUSVILLE, Fla. (October 22, 2024) - City of Titusville's Solid Waste Division is now over 50% complete with their first pass of bulk yard debris, which is anticipated to take another two weeks to complete. At that time, crews will begin a second pass of the city for yard debris and fencing.

Crews have been following the established routes according to the scheduled garbage pickup day to remove debris as quickly and efficiently as possible, working for multiple days to complete the bulk pickup for a particular route. To further maximize cleanup efforts, the regular containerized yard debris crews and equipment have been moved to bulk pickup, and containerized debris is being removed simultaneously when able. As of today, Tuesday, October 22, they have completed Monday's and Tuesday's routes. and have already begun Thursday's. The Solid Waste Division anticipates completing Thursday's routes by Monday, October 28, and will then begin clearing Friday's routes.

If your first pass of bulk yard debris has already been completed, the containerized yard debris crews will resume regular pickups once the second pass of bulk yard debris begins in approximately two weeks. Solid Waste crews will also resume picking up bulk garbage at that time. Currently, there is no need to call in bulk yard debris or fencing, but please continue to call in any bulk junk items such as furniture and appliances. The Solid Waste Division would like to thank citizens for your patience as the City continues to recover from Hurricane Milton.
