Glendale Tech Week 2025 Celebrated Innovation, Collaboration,
and Community Engagement

Glendale, CA - The City of Glendale successfully hosted its ninth annual Glendale Tech Week from September 2-4, 2025, drawing nearly 3,000 registrants to celebrate the region's thriving technology community. The three-day event featured a mix of 21 panels, workshops, and networking sessions, and more, highlighting the creativity, collaboration, and innovation driving Glendale's tech ecosystem.

Nine startups presented their innovations to a panel of investors and a standing-room only crowd at Demo Day, a Glendale Tech Week highlight. This year's Demo Day placed a spotlight on emerging startups and sparked connections that can accelerate their growth. The panel featured leading industry investors:

  • Juan Saez - Founding Investor at Play Time
  • Armen Vartanian - Founder at Oceanview Capital Partners, Inc.
  • Vach Hovsepyan - Investor and Advisor, ServiceTitan
  • Areg Alimian - Partner at SmartGateVC
  • Xiao Zhai - Vice President at DTCIM

Glendale Tech Week offered attendees insights into the latest industry trends and emerging technologies during events, including:

  • Technology & Innovation: Public-Private Partnerships - Exploring how collaboration between government, entrepreneurs, and private investors can drive technological advancement.
  • LeadHERship - Trailblazers in Tech - A session spotlighting women leaders who are shaping the future of technology.
  • Tech Job Fair x Verdugo Jobs Center - Connecting local talent with hiring companies in the tech space.
  • Glasses-Free Visualization with Sony XYN and Knoxlabs - A conversation on 3D-image capture, and display technologies that shared insights into how these tools are shaping the future of media and entertainment.

Technology also intersected with education and craft at Tech Week events like:

  • Little Engineers in the Age of AI - Children designed and tested earthquake-resistant structures, blending creativity with applied STEM learning.
  • The Art of Coffee Roasting Meets Technology - For the first time, Tech Week explored how technology enhances craft industries. Attendees observed how digital tools can log optimal roasting temperatures for the perfect roast.

"What makes Glendale Tech Week special is the mix of people it brings together, students, founders, industry leaders, and neighbors. This year we were proud to bring nearly 3,000 people together to highlight the talent, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit that make Glendale a hub for technology and growth," said Community Development Director Bradley Calvert.
