ST. LOUIS - Residents who would like to share their safety concerns about Route 340 (Clarkson Road) between Lea Oak and Route 100 in St. Louis County are invited to attend an upcoming open house style public meeting TODAY.
The meeting will allow residents to learn about plans for a 2027 resurfacing project along the corridor and share safety concerns to help determine possible updates to this or a future project on the corridor.
The meeting is April 14, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Clarkson Valley City Hall council chambers, 15933 Clayton Road, #300, Ballwin, MO, 63011.
This meeting will allow the public to share insights, discuss concerns and provide comments, either directly to the engineers or through a survey.
The Missouri Department of Transportation is holding the open house-style public meeting to share information about a 2027 resurfacing project on Route 340 (Clarkson Road) between Lea Oak and Route 100 (Manchester Road) and to hear safety concerns from the public to help determine possible updates to this or a future project on the corridor.
During the meeting, MoDOT engineers will share their plans for the corridor and will gather feedback to help complete the design and construction of the project in 2027 as well as gather information for possible future safety improvements along the corridor.
There will be no formal presentation. Participants may attend the meeting at any time TODAY between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
For those who are unable to attend the meeting in person, the information shared during the meeting as well as a survey form will be available at https://www.modot.org/projects/missouri-route-340-pavement-resurfacing-st-louis-county after the meeting. People are welcome to view the information and provide comments about the project until Thursday, April 28.
